Following the Paths of Holy Springs and Hidden Treasures

This 8-kilometer hike leads through gentle meadows, chestnut and laurel forests, and across five impressive gorges. A special highlight of the tour is the six holy springs, adorned with crosses, inviting you to pause. Here, you can enjoy the tranquility of nature amidst a fascinating botanical experience.

A Paradise for Mushrooms and Chestnuts

In the rainy season, the region turns into a paradise for mushroom collectors. From October to January, you can discover numerous mushroom species, while the chestnut trees, once brought to the island by seafarers, shape the landscape. In this area, the chestnut has found a new home and produces delicious chestnuts, which are especially harvested in the autumn months.
