This well-maintained “hideaway” with an infinity pool (heated) and stunning views of the Atlantic is situated in the pristine northwest of La Palma. Villa Atardecer is at the end of a private road and offers a peaceful, well-kept atmosphere for relaxation and nature enjoyment.
The surrounding area offers wonderful hikes and extended walks, for example, along the beautiful Pista del Canal, a canal path running below the house. This region is one of the most scenic hiking areas on the island, with diverse landscapes: vast pine forests, almond and orange groves, walking paths through agricultural plains, deep gorges with endemic flora leading towards the coast, and ever-present views of the Atlantic.
Puntagorda, with various shopping options, organic stores, restaurants, bars, a bank, and the popular farmer’s market “Mercadillo,” is just a 5-minute drive away. Villa Atardecer offers two bedrooms and two bathrooms, accommodating up to four people. Due to the sloped terrain, children are only allowed from the age of 12. A rental car is essential.
Tasteful, high-quality amenities for four people
The house consists of two parts: the former residence of the owner and an extension that now houses a second bedroom and an additional bathroom.
The master bedroom offers a large double bed and breathtaking sea views upon waking. The other bedroom is furnished with two single beds. Both bedrooms are equipped with full air conditioning (heating/cooling).
The bright, spacious living area includes a well-equipped kitchenette, a dining table, and a comfortable couch with satellite TV. Wi-Fi is, of course, available.
The kitchen is well-equipped with a large ceramic cooktop, dishwasher, and oven. Next to the dining table is a small folding desk in case you need to work during your vacation.
Right in front of the kitchen is a covered terrace with a large outdoor table and sea view. There is also a covered terrace along the western front. Several seating options are available.
The absolute highlight is the heated infinity pool—while swimming, you can gaze directly at the blue ocean.
By the pool, there is a spacious area for sun loungers, and an outdoor shower is also available.
Parking is available directly at the house. A beautifully colored rock wall marks the entrance to the property. Please drive carefully on the last stretch, as the path is unpaved and somewhat bumpy.
Important note: There is a cat on the property that is regularly fed. Please do not feed her and, for the sake of future guests, do not let her inside the house. She is well cared for.
