Spectacular Island Tour Over the Summit
This diverse journey offers a panoramic view of the island. Driving through five climate zones, we first navigate many winding roads to reach the highest point of the island. Here, we enjoy the breathtaking view of the world’s largest erosion crater and the neighboring islands of Tenerife, La Gomera, and El Hierro. The observatories are also impressive, and we can even take a closer look at the open mirror telescopes MAGIC. During a small picnic, we take in the scenery.
After a short restroom stop, the journey continues through the northwest, where we dive into the dense and largely unknown laurel forest of La Zarza. A short walk offers plenty of wonders to marvel at.
The next stop is the El Time viewpoint, where we get a panoramic view of the entire Aridane Valley and the devastating impact of the 2021 volcanic eruption. At the foot of the volcano, we’ll make one last photo stop around 4:00 p.m. before heading back to the hotel. Few people have experienced a more varied tour.

Visitors from the east will be brought to Santa Cruz by taxi or bus upon arrangement.
