On this tour, we take you into one of the largest laurel forests on Earth. The hike leads through one of La Palma’s most stunning primeval forest gorges, featuring giant ferns, thick moss, and towering laurel trees. This type of forest dates back to the time of the dinosaurs and can now only be found on a few islands. We take a break at a viewpoint to enjoy the view over the lush greenery, the coast, and the sea. It’s a magnificent circular route, although it can be a bit slippery in some parts.
.
Afterwards, we drive to the charming village of San Andrés, from where we stroll along a dreamy coastal path to the beautiful natural pools of Charco Azul. A refreshing dip in the crystal-clear water marks the end of our tour. For those interested, there’s an opportunity to visit one of the last original rum factories in the Canary Islands (with shopping option).
